If a man’s life is not long enough, a dog’s is even shorter, and anything you can do to make that fuller is worthwhile.

Foundation Program

  • What is it?

We use a flexible framework allowing for remarkable results with every dog regardless of breed, size, or temperament:

Incentive: We get to know your dog and what makes them tick. Proper motivation is key to having an active and engaged training partner. Training becomes something that happens with your dog, not to your dog.

Information: We teach a learning language that makes sense to your dog. We build skills with rewards to maximize enthusiasm while minimizing stress. Then we incorporate tactful use of pressure to ensure reliability.

Integration: We connect incentives and information to create consistency, and informed decision making. The end result is a companion who actually wants to do what you ask!

  • What's Covered?

Our all-inclusive programs address all aspects of life with your dog.

Obedience: Our program begins by developing a clear communication system for all future learning. Then we teach basic on leash obedience skills, and finish it up with remote collar training for off leash safety and reliability.

Lifestyle: Practical skills make it easier to live daily life with your dog. We address house manners, polite interactions, develop routines that increase predictability, and teach acceptance of grooming and veterinary procedures.

Behavior: We utilize proven methods to strengthen desirable behaviors or inhibit problem behaviors, depending on your goals.

  • What's Included?

When we say “all-inclusive,” we mean it! The Foundation program includes tools, education, and support to make sure you are enabled and empowered to maintain lasting results.

Tools: You’ll receive a curated professional equipment package for your dog including a leather leash, long line, training collar selected and fitted to your dog, and remote collar.

Education: Included online courses ensure you never have to take notes or struggle to remember how to do things. You also get premium tier access to the Dog Skool online community for continuing education.

Support: We guarantee your dog will meet our training standards or we’ll keep working with you until they do. We’re here for the long haul with online and in-person support for the life of your dog.

Skill Builder Programs

  • GROW

The Grow Program focuses on the critical socialization period of young puppies, from 8 - 20 weeks of age. We take advantage of this rapid development period to imprint good habits and shape how you puppy’s view of the world around them.

  • ADAPT

The Adapt Program enhances on and off leash obedience in novel and diverse environments while meeting the standards of the Advanced Canine Good Citizen tests: Community Canine and Urban Canine. The end result is a calm, confident, and reliable companion anywhere life takes you.

  • HUNT

The Hunt Program develops your dog’s searching and tracking behaviors in a variety of environments. Young and novice dogs focus on field work before the shot. Advanced dogs can be steadied to shot or fall depending on your testing and hunting needs.

  • FETCH

The Fetch Program covers the trained retrieve and associated yard work. The end result is a reliable retrieve that serves as the foundation for advanced retrieving skill sets. Dogs can then focus on hunting or hunt test specific to their breed and your training goals.
