We strive to produce versatile companion gundogs that excel at home, in the field, and around town. We believe that the KlM is the ideal companion gundog. As the breeders, trainers, hunters, and owners of these dogs our program focuses on imprinting dogs into our training system so that we can bring out the best in each individual dog and offer unequaled training support for our puppy buyers. We are highly involved in KlM-GNA and utilize the JGHV tests to quantify the success of our breeding program. We also run our dogs in NAVHDA. Most importantly, we travel all over the country and hunt our dogs on a wide variety of wild upland birds, waterfowl, and furred game every year. Because of this we know our dogs and their capabilities in a way few breeders can.

Intensive research goes into our pairings as we work to produce an ideal companion gundog. Your puppy will be from proven stock with both sire and dam passing health, temperament, and performance testing requirements; and clear of genetic defects in accordance with KlM-D regulations. They are raised using the Avidog© program, exposed to Early Neurological Stimulation & Early Scent Introduction, and prepared for the NePoPo® training system before leaving us. Each puppy receives extensive care including handling, socialization, exposure, developing good habits and introducing life skills. We provide our puppy buyers with online resources, and access to training days and wild bird hunting opportunities. We are invested in your success and support you throughout the life of your dog.

We expect all of our puppy owners to live with their dogs in the home. We expect these dogs to be hunted, and do not sell puppies to anyone without a valid hunting license or to hunters who do not want a truly versatile hunting dog. We expect owners to be open and honest about their experience and intentions, and we prioritize prospective buyers who are avid hunters and those willing to test their dogs through JHGV. We appreciate participation in other systems but feel that if buyers recognize and appreciate the quality of dogs that our system produces, they should be willing to help support and perpetuate that standard. We expect that our dogs will only be bred in accordance with KlM-D regulations. In the event that you need to give up your dog for any reason, we have first right of refusal.
