Liberty Canine X Iron Oak Dog Co. Seminar

from $155.00

When: August 22-23, 2026

Where: Erwin, North Carolina

We’re teaming up again to teach dogs and handlers an integrative approach to gun dog training that combines rewards and pressure in smart ways that maximize the effectiveness of both. We’re drilling down into the topics that everyone always asks about:

  1. Steadiness - for an honest dog that holds birds till you get there, and can be shot over safely

  2. Backing & Honoring - so your friends, new and old, invite you back to bird camp

  3. Retrieving - because WTF is the point of a dog if they don’t recover game

  4. Obedience - so all your dog’s energy is directed into productive hunting

WORKING SPOTS are for one handler and one dog to receive hands on training throughout the weekend.

AUDIT SPOTS are for one handler to attend, participate in interactive lecture and role play portions of the seminar, and observe the training of the dogs in the working spots.

Included with your registration:

  • Access to online training information to minimize the amount of time we spend going over basic concepts at the seminar

  • Three live webinar sessions to go over basic trained skills that will maximize the effectiveness of the training done at the seminar (recordings available if you can’t attend live)

  • Food

  • Birds for working spots
